"Recently started having some pain in my right eye when I was waking up. It finally got so bad I went to an urgent care. They referred me to the Eye Center. I called the next day, and they were able to get me in the same day for a consult with Wayne. I received excellent care from Wayne and the staff, both at that appointment, and a follow up. They accepted my health insurance with no problem. If you're in the area, and having trouble with your eyes, I highly recommend the Eye Center."

"Dr. Our has been great with my surgery and after care, all the staff and doctors I dealt with has really been great. It wasn't mentally easy for me to deal with my Surgercal needs. "I was in dire need of an eye appointment before the end of December 2025 and there was an opening when I called. They got me right in was able to order my bifocals.From speaking to someone on the phone to each one of the ladies that I came in contact with that day and the doctor, They were nothing but wonderful. Even the lady that helped me pick out my glasses right there on site was wonderful! If you want a place that you are not considered just a number but a person this is where you need to be. "Easy to make an appointment. My glasses broke and I was due for another exam. I opted for the “virtual kind” at the office where you go through the data collection process with a tech who then submits all the data to the doc. Tech was super sweet and kind. Virtual doc was helpful and prescription was accurate. Purchased contact lenses at this location using insurance. Took my eyeglass prescription with me to purchased frames and lenses elsewhere. I am grateful for the services offered and the kindness and professionalism of the staff."
"I just can't express how nice it is to go to an office where everybody is friendly. Everybody smiles. Everybody understands and explains things in a way I can understand. It's just a joy to go there. Everybody smiles. Everybody greets you. Everybody makes you laugh. I love how the office is always happy, smiling, and having fun. The girls down there at the surgery center, they treat you like a person. They explain thing really well. The continually ask which eye, and your date of birth, and I don't care if I have to give it 500 times, it keeps me safe! Everyone is so great! They're always checking on you, asking if you need anything, and if you're okay. And my vision, I couldn't be happier! I can see 500% better! It's a win-win!"

My wait time was nothing compared to what you normally expect at any doctor’s office. Once I was in the back, my exam was quick and easy. One of the quickest eye exams I’ve ever gotten. "I have had excellent care from Dr. Walmer and the staff for years. On one occasion I needed a same day apt and this was accommodated. I do agree that after 11AM the wait times are quite long, but the care is excellent!"

I wanted lasik surgery to eliminate glasses and correct my bad vision. My night vision was also terrible, it was like everyone had their high beams on. After my eye exam I found out I had cataracts. I never expected that! I was very scared about surgery. Every one there was so kind and professional. Dr. Hartzell removed the cataracts and my sight is unbelievable!!! I actually read my fortune cookie at PF Changs and amazed my family. I would encourage anyone thinking eye surgery to call the Eye Center and ask for Dr. Hartzell!"

Both of my eyes were failing due to very aggressive cataracts... My vision turned so poor, so quickly that I could no longer drive, read a magazine or use a computer! Even something as simple as watching TV had become nearly impossible. My entire world was a blur, like looking through Saran Wrap. Dr. Hartzell and his entire staff were very assuring, comforting and confident their procedures would help me. Every step of the way they were efficient, organized and completely professional. Their cheerful demeanor before and during my surgeries, and at every follow-up appointment since, has proven I made the right choice for my eye care. The results? For the first time in 50 years, I no longer need glasses! Waking up each day with nearly perfect vision (20/25) is a true blessing in every way. My wife and I thank Dr. Hartzell, his nurses and staff for all their compassionate assistance and care. — James & Lori Wittlich"
