David Lightman, MD

Board-certified ophthalmologist David Lightman has been providing eye health services locally since 1986 when he founded his first practice in the Susquehanna Valley. Beyond being an integral part of our surgical team, Dr. Lightman often travels internationally to train ophthalmology residents in retinal surgery and offers eye care in underdeveloped countries. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Princeton University and Tulane Medical School before moving on to his ophthalmology residency in Boston, MA at Tufts New England Medical Center. After his residency, Dr. Lightman completed fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
