Meet George E. Fava, MD

Dr. Fava graduated summa cum laude from Boston College and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his medical internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After completing his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Fava opened his private practice in Lebanon, PA. In 1999, Dr. Fava expanded the office and added a surgery center for cataract implant surgery and refractive laser surgery. Dr. Fava also has special interest in evaluating and treating glaucoma patients and diabetics with eye disease. Additionally, he has extra education in Lyme disease diagnosis and treatment and regenerative medicine. Dr. Fava is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society).

Dr. Fava lives in Lebanon County with this wife for 44 years, Margie, and his yellow lab, Daisy. They are the proud parents of four children and their spouses along with three grandchildren and five grand-pets. In his spare time, Dr. Fava enjoys golf, exercise, playing the drums and traveling.
